My debut YA novel, IN MY HANDS, can be described as the adventure of Tomb Raider meets the heart of Wonder Woman, steeped in South Asian myth and folklore. It’s a mix of many of my favorite elements: A heap of girl power wrapped up in a magical jungle adventure about belonging and identity, family secrets, and learning to love even the darkest parts of ourselves.
